Of course, he could have started over from the clean master but he was determined to fix the book from the CreateSpace file. The irony is we looked at the first proof we had gotten from them and the errors weren't in it. It's the weird part of the computer world how things can grow like topsy. I run into it with the blogs too sometimes. The idea though is separate lead characters with an issue to resolve that seems resolved when the book is finished but when you see the next, you can see more was yet to unravel-- kind of like life ;)

When I do series, which I don't usually set out to do when I write a book, I want the stories to stand alone as in you don't wait for a character's story to come to a happy (or otherwise) ending.

In this trilogy the first is not so much a romance as about reincarnation and a soul mate concept from my November dream. The second carries forth one of the characters for a new story and in that case still paranormal but more of a real feeling romance. The third will be like that with yet a new character that the story revolves around. Each one has a plot and character arc that is ended when it's done but you have more of a full understanding of what was happening all along by the last one.

How (I think) you do that sounds like a topic worth a blog all of its own. Maybe Sunday as Thursday I have a guest author.Rain Trueaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07994628226501093880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6079864127530511532.post-64224553130768895672014-03-18T15:21:46.843-07:002014-03-18T15:21:46.843-07:00Sounds likes a tremendous bit of hard work and I c...Sounds likes a tremendous bit of hard work and I cannot imagine how difficult working with html or xml or whatever code to straighten things out. He deserves a special dinner out or something! I would like to read how you make a trilogy 'independent' or 'stand alone.' What editing is involved?Taborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15257045780724471840noreply@blogger.com
